On The Very Spot – Battle Abbey

ADi Solutions is pleased to have worked on a new temporary exhibition in The Great Gatehouse at Battle Abbey about the Battle of Hastings in 1066. We fabricated the ‘Weapon Forest’ which included a shield wall, arrows, spears and axes artificially aging them to look genuine. ADi built the display furniture including the steel-work stands, the timeline table and the podium with a contour map of the location of the battle site. ADi also supplied and installed the imitation Bayeux tapestries printed on canvas. The information stands which we fabricated in our workshop were then printed direct to media.
